by Elias - on Oct 24th 2011 - No Comments

Not to get all political on you guys, but there’s a new video that was taken of Muammar Gaddafi right before his death. We warn you that this video is quite graphical, so don’t let the children see this. In case you gamers didn’t know, Muammar Gaddafi is the dictator that ruled the Middle Eastern country of Libya for about 34 years. He was quite brutal when he ran the country and was even suspected of sponsoring terrorism. Below is that brutal video and again this might not be suitable around children or work.

by Elias - on Oct 10th 2011 - 1 Comment

If you played Grand Theft Auto IV you probably know already that the Twin Towers where were not included in the game. It would of been nice to see how the World Trade Center would of looked like in Liberty City if September 11 wouldn’t happened. Luckily for us and everybody that can remember some modders have added the World Trade Center to the Grand Theft Auto IV world. The mod isn’t available just yet, but they are making progress and below we have a video that shows you the Twin Towers. A couple of years ago there was a mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and you can see a video of that by clicking here.

Some Dead Space 3 Details Have Surfaced!

by Elias - on Oct 1st 2011 - No Comments

So we received an email tip with what it seems to be the details on the popular and upcoming Survival-Horror Third Person Shooter Dead Space 3. As of now take this as a rumor, being that it was a tipster that sent this in and not EA  or Viceral who are developer and publishers of the game. As you know already Dead Space 1 and 2 were awesome, so this is a game that we are hoping to check out. Another confirmation is the video below that was recorded outside of Offices around EA with a Dead Space 3 logo.

  • Takes place on Tau Voltantis
  • This area is an icy planet where Isaac Clarke has to wade through white-out blizzard conditions
  • Isaac crash lands on the planet
  • He thinks that he might be the only survivor
  • Isaac goes to an abandoned waystation, which he uses for shelter from the snowstorm
  • He encounters a survivor who is severely injured
  • He speaks to the near dead comrade who reveals there are other survivors that trekked off to another facility
  • Another survivor: Ellie (from first game)
  • Isaac grabs a snowsuit and heads into the blizzard
  • He eventually reunites with Ellie and a new character named Jennifer
  • They all climb a mountain, Jennifer reluctant to do so
  • She’s a tech type excited over finding a codex and plans to reverse engineer research by a group called Rosetta to gain access to it
  • They hear a howl from below as they climb, can’t spot what kind of creature made the sound
  • Enemies in Dead Space 3 are being referred to as “the hive mind”

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City get’s the RAGE treatment

by Elias - on Sep 3rd 2011 - No Comments

If you were old enough to have the privilege to play Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in 2002 when it came out you probably appreciate what a group of moders are doing to the game. The other day GTA: San Andreas was updated and what we mean by that is it’s graphics. The modification looked great and it felt like play Grand Theft Auto IV and this is the same thing that these very smart modders are doing making the graphics of the original vice cily compete with that of GTA IV.

Below you can see a video of what to expect and let’s say that these geniuses are planing to release the mod this coming Christmas.

RAGE: Behind the Scenes, Pt. 6: The Sound and Art

by Elias - on Aug 12th 2011 - No Comments

The Sound & Art of Rage is going to be intense and in the video below you get a behind the scenes look of what’s going on under the hood of the game. With actors such as John Goodman playing Dan Hagar, which is the main character this could only get better. XBOX 360 owners will need at least two dual layer disks as Rage is going to be 1 Terrabyte in file size all while Playstation 3 owners will only need one Blueray disk.  Take a look at the video below.
