E3 2011: Twisted Junk E3 Predictions on what may be revealed!

by Elias - on Jun 5th 2011 - No Comments

Today is the day in which the three major companies are going to tell us about what they are planning for the future in games and hardware. Because of this and our knowledge of the industry, we have decided to do our predictions on the things that we think will probably be talked about on E3. It is obvious that this is just a prediction and not the truth until it is confirmed by the companies that publish the titles we are going to talk about.

It is very obvious that this is the year of the Wii 2, but it isn’t necessarily the only competitor as it has Microsoft and PlayStation with their secrets that there keeping in a vault somewhere.

Anyways let’s get started with the predictions.

2 Days 2 Vegas

There is a huge chance that we will hear about this game being that it’s been in development for quite some time now. This game is going to be similar to that of Grand Theft Auto and the storyline has you driving across the country until you reach Las Vegas. So far, however the game has confirmed only two cities and that is New York and Las Vegas. We give the possibility of this game showing up at E3 2011 a 50/50 and part of that is because the studio that was developing this game, Steel Monkeys closed it’s doors. Not to worry people the game went into development with a different studio.

Microsoft enters the handheld market!

The folks over at Microsoft probably have something that’s related to the mobile market and gaming. It has been too long for them not to do so and being that they continue to introduce new phones and then of course you have the Zune, which has casual gaming capabilities. Microsoft has also been playing with touch technology for a long time and by now they should have the technology mastered to the point where they can create a device that would handle high end quality gaming and the best of it all is that if they make this device they it will probably play 360 games as well as the indie ones.

Nintendo enters the cell phone market

The probability of Nintendo entering into the cell phone market is one that could happen. Nintendo could market the product to parents wanting to give their kids a cell phone that would look cool, but doesn’t brake. The device could also have a lot of parental control features that would ensure your child’s protection. Now I know that you are going to say well what about the Wii 2? Our answer to that is that the Wii 2 could be a phone for all we know, but in the case that it isn’t, it could be at least announced.

Tropico 4 Downloadble Content

Tropico 4 is going to be shown at E3 this year and this is probably going to be the best game out of the franchise. A Tropico game wouldn’t be anything without some DLC and chances are that we will hear about this on E3. In case you didn’t know about this game you should probably get Tropico 3, because it was really fun. You build a city in a Caribbean island!

This year’s E3 is probably the year that a new Grand Theft Auto game get’s introduced. It has been many years since the last GTA and even though Rockstar wants to make money from other games like L.A. Noire and Red Dead Redemption the signs are hinting that the GTA V or whatever there going to call it is coming. Now I know you are going to say that Rockstar is only going to show Max Payne, but hey this doesn’t mean that they can’t hint us of a possible game.

That’s all folks for now, but we will keep you updated as news comes along. If you are not attending E3 2011 you can check out the shows by checking out the details below. Be sure to check out the Microsoft show as they usually pay for exclusives and will probably have many.
