If you are a traveler like me you will probably be interested to know that Bing has added Airport Maps. This is a great thing if you are traveling and are looking for a store or simply want to know real time traffic for security lines. It was nice to see that they added our local Logan International Airport here in Boston and looking at the map, we are impressed with how accurate it actually is.

Is Google going to Launch A Cellular Phone Service?

by Elias - on Sep 26th 2011 - No Comments

For a while, there’s been a rumor going around that Google will launch a Cell Phone Service. This service would compete with T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint and recently new photos reveal a sim card and a development kit that was sent to Spanish developers by Google. The service could be called Google ES as it indicates on one of the screenshots, but chances are that it means Google Español. If all this is true chances are that Google will launch service in Europe and then expand to North America and other regions. A service like that would be awesome as anything that Google makes is good and knowing the awesomeness of Google chances are that the prices will be reasonable and not exploiting as they are with Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile.

by Elias - on Jun 3rd 2011 - No Comments

Microsoft is getting better with age and this time they have unveil the new Operating System that we PC users are going to be using. It seems like they are getting rid of the whole Media center thing and are focusing on touch screen technology with Windows 8. The good thing about this new OS is that the most important things are put in the tiles, so you can pick from your favorite apps and they will auto update for you in the screen.

In addition to the tile app system you get a Windows 8 that looks a lot like Windows 7 and that is good in the case that you didn’t intend to use windows for the touchscreen features. For more info on this watch the video below.
