“Whore of the Orient” is Brendan McNamara’s next game!

by Elias - on Nov 29th 2011 - No Comments

If you ever played The Getaway and the recent L.A. Noire, which are games by Brendan McNamara you will probably be interested to know that “Whore of the Orient” is his next project. It would be nice to see The Getaway based somewhere in Asia, but that’s just our imagination running wild. According to one of our tipsters though this new game would be based on an “Untold Story” and that should make things interesting considering the advancement behind Team Bondi and the way that L.A. Noire was developed. For all we know this could be a whole new game that doesn’t have any vehicles in it and chances are that it will share similarities to the Uncharted series by Naughty Dog. As usual time will tell, but keep checking with us as more details emerge.

It is obvious that you guys already know that we are only covering games based on the respect that we have for the game itself and not the publishers or developers, which means that we have little respect for Take 2 and Rockstar due to their public relations people being soo darn unreachable. We do have a lot of respect for Team Bondi with their L.A Noire as they are doing  awesome work with their 1940′s crime detective game. Check out the boxart for L.A Noire as this is what your are going to be looking at when you step into your local video game store.

Watch a sneak peek of the development of L.A Noire

The technology behind L.A Noire is probably the best one out there as they are using actual people to make this game. Team Bondi was founded by the guy behind Team Soho, who did The Getaway series, so you know that this is going to be good. The thing that would be interesting to see is if this same technology will be used in Grand Theft Auto V or the future of that franchise. Rockstar is behind Team Soho, so lets hope they use this/

Rockstar finally releases a trailer for L.A. Noire

by Elias - on Nov 11th 2010 - No Comments

As gamers and fans of games that Rockstar makes, we have been anticipating at least a trailer for L.A. Noire, a game that most of us knew about, but almost forgot.  Rockstar has been taking their sweet time to to release info on it, but hey we understand that good things come to those who wait. In this trailer we see Los Angeles back in the 1940′s in a detective style sandbox game that is originally being developed by Team Bondi out of Australia. These guys know what there doing as Brendan McNamara who is responsible for the Getaway is the founder of Team Bondi. There really isn’t enough information as to when the game will be released, but at least we know enough to expect that it will be out sometime in 2011. We hope that this game is not as huge of a disappointment as Mafia 2 was, because that game sucked and was really short. In case you didn’t know L.A. Noire is coming out on the XBOX 360 and the Playstation 3 as well, so it’s not an exclusive tittle to the PS3 anymore.
