Every year we pick a couple of games to that we call the must buys for the year. These games are of our interest and although we would love to do more game reviews on other games; we have had difficult times dealing with public relations people from many the publishers of the top game developers. Is not that we hate these public relations people, but some are just better than others and we have many friends in this industry, but because there are public relation people who think that they are soo posh and act like their shit don’t stink; we got to the point that were only going to reviews on games that come to our interest. Personally I’m not going to spend a dime on a game published by Activision, Take 2 Interactive, EA or anyone unless the game is really good and we think that it has potential, especially with Mafia 2 and Medal of Honor being as disappointing as they were.

That being said I may buy Socom 4 as it is shaping up to be a game that will make the franchise that is Socom. This game looks amazing and the single player campaign as well the multiplayer seem like it will be as good as Call of Duty: Black Ops. We got a chance to check out Sid Meier’s Civilization V and Mafia 2 at the Pax East event and we must say that were impressed with both games, but however Mafia 2 beats it. We were however not impressed with 2K Games in general because they created some VIP crap that basically means you have to wait a half an hour to test out their games, which can sort of distract you from coming back to their booths all together. Basically with all the stuff at PAX east you guys are encouraging people to not check your games out. Especially with Rockstar Games next to it and other awesome publishers around it.

Anyways Take 2 or whoever made the decision to do that VIP crap for 2K games we urge you to do it the way Rockstar Games did it at their booth. It’s fair and it gives everyone a chance to check you’re games out eventually, and yes even though people hate waiting in line, it’s much easier to wait for a bit and play than not wait at all and forget to play and test out your games at all.

Rockstar Games has finally released information about a release date of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the PSP. October 20, 2009 is the official date for you PSP owners to get y hand on this cool game. The information was received via Rockstar’  Twitter page and also can be confirmed by Rockstar’s parent company Take Two Interactive.
