A closed beta for Mass Effect 3 was recently leaked on Xbox Live to those testing the Xbox Live dashboard update. While it’s now offline, the speedy folks who downloaded and played the beta still managed to videotape its single-player campaign.

Above is the first 14 minutes of that in action, showing off a Reaper invasion as well as three gameplay mode options: “Action Mode,” “Story Mode,” and “RPG Mode.” Apparently, these adjust the game’s difficulty and dialogue inputs, giving the player the option to have an experience that’s either more action-oriented, story-driven, or both.

Note that what you’re seeing in the above video is a ME 3′s non-final build, so there are some technical anomalies.

“We’d like to stress that the leaked code is in a rough, unfinished state and was not meant for public release,” BioWare’s Jesse Houston wrote on BioWare’s forums in response to the accidental leak of ME 3’s beta. “The content is not final, and is not reflective of the quality of the finished, polished game due for release on March 6, 2012 (March 9 in Europe).”

This month is shaping up to be a very busy one for gaming being that the exclusives are starting to come out. This time around is Gears of War 3 that will be released exclusively on the XBOX 360 this 20th of September. This means that XBOX 360 and PS3 owners will probably not be leaving their homes. The new trailer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes looks promising and will probably keep you in your seats at the theater.  The apes look great and premiering this Friday you have a movie that has an interesting cast with actors such as James Franco, John Lithgow (who played the Trinity Killer in Dexter) to the sexy Freida Pinto of Slum-dog Millionaire. The story is set in modern day San Francisco, where a genetic experiment that goes wrong and apes become more intelligent than humans.

In the demo yesterday of Mass Effect 3 it was revealed that the game would have support for Kinect. The demo seemed fascinating as Earth was invaded by the Reavers and a war is underway. At E3, Bioware showed off some nice gameplay for the much anticipated game and what made things awesome was that the game will support voice commands through Kinect. Let’s hope that similar support is there for the PS3 version of the game. Expect Mass Effect 3 on the XBOX 360, PS3 and PC next year around summer time.

It looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger is making is way back to the big screen playing the role that most of us know him from and that is with The Terminator 5. This movie could be a disaster, being that the Sarah Connor Chronicles was the biggest piece of crap i have ever seen on Fox. We will have to wait and see, but who knows it could also be awesome as he is going to be there.
