Remembering the days of Twisted Metal back when the series started out brings back that nostalgia, but we always felt that there was something missing in this game. Well in the video below you have David Jaffe the man behind Twisted Metal and he shows you some pretty cool things that you can expect in the upcoming Twisted Metal game. Probably our favorite new things are the helicopter and the big rig, but really the most impressive thing about this game is that its for a next-gen console.

If you followed the series, you probably know how awesome this racing is. It looks promising especially the way that the environment changes from a muddy track to a racing style of game. We hope that Codemasters make some improvements in the game because in the original two games there were some glitches.

Parts of the trailer sort of reminds me of  Motorstorm, but without the rally cars. Another think I like is the snow feature on some of the levels of the game which makes you wonder if it will be slippery.
