Tropico 4: Modern Times Expansion Screenshots

by Elias - on Jan 28th 2012 - No Comments

Already an awesome game, Tropico 3 will be expanding to more modern times with their upcoming “Modern Times” Expansion pack. It will be awesome to see the Tropico series expand to these days, being that all the previous games were set in past times. With Modern Times, city building gamers out there will get to build huge skyscrapers and the expansion will bring approximately 30 new buildings that should keep you busy for quite some time.

There will also be building upgrades, which means that you can still build the old buildings and as your city grows you can upgrade. With this expansion pack, gamers will get 10 new edicts that will allow more control of the lives of Tropico’s citizens.

Below are some of the screenshots that you can expect to see in “Modern Times” and as always keep checking with us as more details emerge.

Tropico 4 will have some modern times [PC]

by Elias - on Jan 13th 2012 - No Comments

Fans of Tropico 4 will soon get to see some modern times in the awesome paradise city building game. The awesome folks over at Kalypso have announced today that “El Presidente” will have an about 30 new and modern buildings that should keep you busy building a Caribbean nation. Below is the full list in detail of what this expansion pack will bring to the table.

  • Make Tropico fit for the 21st century: Evolve the island from the Cold War era to modern times and even into the future
  • 30 new buildings become available as time progresses, including condos, skyscrapers, organic ranches and biofarms. Replace obsolete buildings with these modern and inspiring designs.
  • Upgrade old buildings to new variants – modernized apartment buildings, banks, museums and much more
  • 10 new edicts allow even more control over your citizens’ lives. Block or limit citizens’ Internet use, create a police state or be a “good guy” and launch the Festival of Love edict.
  • New single player campaign comprised of 12 comprehensive scenario missions. Protect Tropico from unseen and sinister forces.

It’s going to be fun to get to play a Tropico that will have some modern times and this could be the beginning of something good. With a future themed version of this game chances are that Tropico 5 will be based on modern times instead of the 1950′s cold war era.
