Konami Announces: Rhythm Party for Kinect!

by Elias - on Jan 28th 2012 - No Comments

It seems like music games are becoming more common these days with Konami jumping on the music game wagon. The game that Konami will be bringing to the table is “Rhythm Party” and it will look similar to the Just Dance series of games by Ubisoft, but as of now this game is for Kinect only. Since this is a first for the developer, they are probably trying to test the waters on dancing & music games. If things go well they might bring this game to the Nintendo Wii/U and the Playstation Move. Below you can see the track list of the game.

  • Born This Way, Lady Gaga
  • Every Little Step, Bobby Brown
  • Y.M.C.A., Village People
  • A Midnight Rendezvous, Shanice
  • Still unbreakable, Des-ROW Ft. Vanilla Ice
  • SAY A PRAYER, Des-ROW Ft. Maxi Priest
  • BEFREE, Des-ROW Ft. Vanilla Ice
  • Summer Fairytale, Design-MAD crew
  • HEARTBREAK (Sound Selektaz remix), NAOKI feat. Becca Hossany
  • All Thu The Night, jun feat. Lisa Lisa

Not the best track list to dance to, but maybe some DLC will become available some time in the future. You can expect Rhythm Party for the XBOX 360 via XBL Arcade on February 1, 2012. For now check out take a look at the trailer and track list up top.

The top 10 Awesome Games of 2011

by Elias - on Dec 23rd 2011 - No Comments

In 2011 we saw an awesome library of games, but there were some that left a lasting impression on us and most gamers. These games have been thoroughly looked at and we couldn’t of been more happy to bring you our list of the top ten games of 2011. We also want to pay some respect to the studios behind these masterpieces, because without them these games would not be possible at all. This list should also help for late Christmas shopping for the gamers in your life.

Top Adventure

For those of you that didn’t get a chance to play L.A. Noire well the what are you waiting for? In all seriousness, L.A. Noire is probably one of the best looking multi-platform next-gen games out there. The people at Team Bondi created a 1940′s Los Angeles that looks great and has an exciting storyline. In case you didn’t know, L.A. Noire comes from the same mind behind  The Getaway and that game exceeded the expectations back in the days of the PS2.

Top Role Playing Game

We would like to extend our thanks to the cool people at Bethesda Softworks for bringing in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. What makes Skyrim special is that once you start playing it you will probably not want to put it down, which means that the replay value exceeds anything out there right now. And just the fact that you get to fight dragons in this game makes it all worth it.

Top Fighting Game

A game that came back with a vengeance was Mortal Kombat 9, which brought an incredible storyline and to make things interesting the multiplayer was awesome. For me it was a great experience do to the fact that I stopped playing the Mortal Kombat series for a while. If you do not have this game then this is a must for anyone that likes fighting games in general.

Top Music Game

Whether you like to admit it or not, Just Dance 3 is probably one of the most fun games out there on the Wii. With tons of tracks that will satisfy whole family you have a game that has a variety of popular pop culture songs. Kids and adults love it due to the variety of tracks available and overall it’s a game that never gets old.

Top War Game

It was a very tough decision to pick from Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3, but we have to give credit to Electronic Arts and Dice for bringing Battlefield back. What makes this game stand out is the ability to let you hop in a fighter jet, tank or any of it’s many vehicles. You can also be a sniper in this game and that makes it really enjoyable as there is something for everybody.

Top PS3 Game

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is probably one of the best games to play from 2012. As the third installment of the series the game exceeded expectations and it shows the true power of the Playstation 3. We would like to thank Sony and the awesome people over at Naughty Dog for bringing this game back and we look forward to more Uncharted games.

Top Wii Game

We have to give credit to Nintendo for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. This is probably one of the best Zelda games ever made and using Wii Motion Plus makes the game more enjoyable. In the end The Legend of Zelda is really for the fans of the series and there are many.

Top XBOX 360 Game

If you follow the Gears of War series you were probably anticipating the release of Gears 3. In case you were wondering this third person shooter uses one of the best cover systems out. Overall a great story and really enjoyable to play. Unfortunately, Gears 3 is not available on the Playstation 3  and it’s exclusive to the XBOX 360.

Top Super Hero Game

Batman Arkham City is one of the best super hero games out there and only those that have yet to play it will disagree. With this game it just feels great to control Batman and combining the fighting  mechanics with stealth you have a game that is addicting and overall great for Batman fans worldwide.

Top Sports Game

For you sports fans out there our pick for this year’s top sports game goes to Madden NFL 12. Developed by the talented folks over at EA Tiburon you have a game that can be enjoyed by every one in almost every platform available. Madden NFL 12 has added about 25 new plays, which makes the game better than it’s predecessor Madden NFL 12.
