A Dead Island Movie is in the works!

by Elias - on Sep 28th 2011 - No Comments

LionsGate has acquired the rights to make the official movie of Techland and Deep Silver’s Dead Island. This movie was inspired by the trailer below and it seems like it wasn’t just gamers that paid attention to the popular horror/action-adventure game. Joe Drake of Liongate had some interesting things to say about the game.

“Like the hundreds of journalists and millions of fans who were so passionate and vocal about theDead Island trailer, we too were awestruck.”

He continued

“This is exactly the type of property we’re looking to adapt at Lionsgate – it’s sophisticated, edgy, and a true elevation of a genre that we know and love. It also has built in brand recognition around the world, and franchise potential.”

Let’s hope that this doesn’t become another video game movie that sucks as many have in the past. We will have to wait and see as zombie movies do tend to be awesome if they are done the right way.

Elizabeth Taylor has died at age 79!

by Elias - on Mar 23rd 2011 - No Comments

The world has lost an a great icon with the very beautiful Elizabeth Taylor. She was very important to film and entertainment and some may even say that she was quite a sex symbol in her younger days. Back then when films were classy and people had morals you had her and unlike now that you have starlets like Lindsay Lohan Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian that bring class to Hollywood in a very whorish way. We would like to give our deepest condolences to the Taylor family in their sad times, but most importantly we would like her to rest in peace.

Grand Theft Auto V: San Andreas??

by Elias - on Jul 27th 2010 - No Comments

There are rumors circulating around that the next installment of Grand Theft Auto is going to be set in Hollywood and probably based around San Andreas same as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. A GTA based around San Andreas would be amazing and one can only wonder what the possibilities are now that the Playstation and the XBOX 360 are a couple of years old and Rockstar got the technology to do bigger and better things. We hope that they do more than Hollywood as I personally been there and I like it, but can appreciate other parts of California. We will keep you updated as more news and rumors come our way and don’t forget that if you have any tips send them over to: tips@twistedjunk.com

Another movie based on game! [RollerCoaster Tycoon]

by Elias - on May 15th 2010 - No Comments

Well it just seems like Hollywood has just run out of ideas so now they are reduced to making movies on old games that my parents played when they were kids. I can see how maybe a video game of Roller coaster Tycoon could work, but a movie it just seem like it would fail. Sony pictures has bought the rights to produce a movie for the popular game.

Sandra Bullock must of known the truth about Jesse James

by Elias - on Mar 28th 2010 - No Comments

Not that we talk much celebrity gossip here, but this is a big deal being that Sandra Bullock is one of our favorite actresses. So she hooked up with that white supremacy dude Jesse James from west coast choppers and and the question most people have is: How is it that she didn’t know? – Well the answer to that is that she had to of known. There is no way that you date someone and eventually get married to this person and not know.

He had a nazi girlfriend or wife at one point, which it’s also a sign that indicates that he is a racist supremacist. If you look at the guy real close he looks like he is ready to join Hitler movement. Blaming him for being who he is wrong maybe he had a Nazi upbringing, but the one we question the most is Sandra because trash follows trash and if she married him she must be like him.

Look at in Touch’s latest issue  there information there about this guy having phone sex with his porn star ex, trolling around the net looking for hookups, sex without a condom,  which is making Sandra worried about the possibilities of an STD.

Actress Brittany Murphy dies at age 32

by Elias - on Dec 20th 2009 - 1 Comment

She was an interesting character in every movie role that she was given and was the sweet and kind girl. A great personality that is hard to find these days, because women like her were rare. On the morning of December 20, 2009 Brittany was found unconscious in the shower so her mother called the paramedics who tried to revive her, but it was too late. Brittany was declared dead due to cardiac arrest which may have been caused by drug and alcohol use.

She was known for her role as Tai in Clueless with Alicia Silverstone and Stacey Dash, also known as Alex in the movie 8 Mile with Eminem. One of my favorite roles that she played was Luanne Platter in King of the Hill, where she was Peggy Hill’s niece and a great character for the show she was indeed. Most importantly she will be missed for being who she was, a good caring person and not like the regular actresses in Hollywood with their nose up their asses.

In recent news her husband Simon Monjack strongly opposes that an autopsy be made, which is probably a good decision on his end, being that most people in Hollywood are on some kind of drug, which may make her look bad. Let her rest in piece people as, we all wish to be when our time comes. I personally don’t want to read that about her because of my respect for her.

R.I.P Brittany – Check out this video below
