Netflix is spliting the company to two and it seems like things will be getting better for gamers as they will soon start to add games to their queue system. This means that Netflix will be competing with Gamefly and that could be a good thing as some friendly competition might bring the prices down on rentals. Recently I noticed that a lot of the Starz programming was missing from the instant streaming queue, so it’s nice to see that there at least making up for that by bringing in games. If you follow Judd Apatow’s movies like Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshal or even the 40 year old virgin; You  should know that the same awesome people that did these movies might be bringing back Knocked Up in a sequel. Universal Pictures has signed Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann for a Judd Apatow movie, which might end up being Knocked Up 2.

If you follow this series like I do you will probably be happy to know that Mark Wahlberg has confirmed that he will be playing the leading role in the Uncharted The Movie. For us, were very proud of him as he is from Boston and this is our city and to see someone from our town do a movie related to video games is simply awesome. This news comes of course right after the rumors that Uncharted will have a part 3 called World of Deceit, which was sort of confirmed by a Los Angeles artist who has done some work for Naughty Dow, who does the Uncharted series. A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is in the works and it looks like Paramount is working on a release date around 2012, so all you fans of this awesome series will probably like it. To see Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael back will be interesting especially because of all this new animation technology around. We could only hope that new animation technology doesn’t change the fun that was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Well it just seems like Hollywood has just run out of ideas so now they are reduced to making movies on old games that my parents played when they were kids. I can see how maybe a video game of Roller coaster Tycoon could work, but a movie it just seem like it would fail. Sony pictures has bought the rights to produce a movie for the popular game.
