Dungeon Defenders ‘Summons’ New DLC via STEAM

by Maxwell Shepherd - on May 25th 2012 - 2 Comments

Trendy Entertainment has released it’s latest Hero Class DLC “Summoner,” for Dungeon Defenders earlier this week. Online Tower Defense RPG says very little about one of the fastest selling downloadable games of all times. Dungeon Defenders is an original hybrid of two hot genres: Tower Defense and Online Cooperative Real Time Strategy Action-RPG!  Hero’s like Squire, Apprentice, and Monk, now take a seat while an unknown entity from the Crystalline Dimension “Summoner” bakes up his own plan to wage a war across Etheria. Summoner is for the use of the Master Strategist. With abilities such as “Phase shift” (which allows you to move unnoticeably across the realm) or “Flash Heal” (which heals all allied defenses and units within a certain radius instantly), Team up and fight on 15 unique maps, 30 challenges, and 4 difficulty settings; raiding loots, casting spells, and leveling up to build the strongest hero and highest score in the kingdom. Get your copy today via Steam PC and Mac, and start transforming those Sentient Crystals to Minions!

by Elias - on May 18th 2012 - No Comments

In a recent trailer entitled “Payback” you get a glimpse of the new Downloadable content coming to Batman: Arkham City. In the video below there isn’t much on Harley Quinn herself, but you do get to see her in some of the cut-scenes. There is of course some nice action coming from Batman and Robin, but still no no cooperatively if you were expecting any. Harley Quinn’s Revenge DLC is scheduled to release on May 29, 2012.

Mass Effect 3 “Extended Cut” Content Confirmed

by Clint - on Apr 5th 2012 - No Comments

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite post-ending news on the internet.

Unless you’ve been away from the internet for the last month, you’ve no doubt noticed the raging inferno known as the controversy and outcry over the ending to BioWare’s Mass Effect 3. People have been arguing all over about how the ending was bad, didn’t make sense, did make sense if you looked at it a certain way, and the awesomeness of Marauder Shields(seriously, look it up). Well looks like BioWare have come up with a strategy that should work for at least most of the arguers today: they announced an “Extended Cut” to their controversial ending.

Taken right from their blog, “An official press release went out today announcing how we are re-prioritizing the Mass Effect 3 post release content schedule to provide a more fleshed out experience for our fans. For many of you the “Extended Cut” will help answer some questions and give closure to this chapter of the Mass Effect story. Oh and it’s at no cost to you – the fan.” In short, they aren’t changing the ending but instead opting to not only try to explain it better within the context of the game but also to give fans a bit more closure. This will please both the people crying foul wanting explanations and also the people who were crying foul over artistic integrity, pretty much only ruling out the arguably smallest group who just wanted the ending trashed and completely rewritten.

The best part of all this? If you download the DLC before the end of 2014, you get it completely free. Yes EA is giving something away for free, and no the apocalypse isn’t happening right now. Here’s hoping this helps springboard the opinion of BioWare and Mass Effect back towards the “awesome” category instead of the “ruined forever” one.
