During their journey you get to experience the features Ubisoft have been tuning up for the past two years such as partially destructible environments, cool team based game play, and realistic situations like constant airstrikes that keep the ground shaking, and your mind boiling, so get in the action now on the Playstation3, Xbox360, and PC, while you still have a ground to stand on.

Super exited as we get closer to the release of one of my all time favorite games Double Dragon!  One of my first impressions of the game back in 1987 (when ” Technos Japan” Double Dragon made its  debut on the NES in N.America by “Tradewest”) was WOW I cant believe my friend and I can fight together at the same time and use the objects around us as weapons! Abodo never could stand up after that Barrel to the dome, but now Billy and Jimmy Lee have bigger problems to face. Summer of 2012 is when the new DOUBLE DRAGON NEON is expected to hit the HD big screen, and Skullmageddon “the new boss”has no problem holding on to Marian for awhile longer!

WAYFORWARD & MAJESTICO Entertainment have taken on the challenge of bringing the legacy back to life. Double Dragon Neon is an 80′s style 2-D side scroller on steroids. Included in this pack are 4 new maps and 10 new weapons to accompany all your hardcore killing needs! Battlefield is usually known for its huge open world environments taking advantage of the Frostbite2 engine, this time they are focusing more on Infantry themed game-play similar to that of Modern Warfare style head on massacre set to add a more competitive gaming experience.Think Operation Metro style maps that are said to have added perks such as high definition destruction, which in turn delivers highly destructible environments. Next to the 10 new weapons that include guns like the SPAS-12 Semi-Auto Shotgun, or the MTAR-21 also known as the TAR-21 assault rifle. There  will be 5 unique dog tags, and new assignments, “To unlock the guns of course!” If that’s not enough for you, rumors of a Battlefield Premium have been floating around the web lately,” Even though we already have Battlelog that’s free”which is said to be a COD: Elite type service. When Crystal Dynamics first set out to reboot the Tomb Raider franchise, there were two goals that we were extremely passionate about. The first was to create a modern Tomb Raider game that would surprise and excite gamers. The second was to make this the best game of our careers, something we would be really proud to be a part of. We truly believe that we have something very special on our hands and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Our priority now is to make sure we fully deliver the very highest quality game. In order to do this, we have decided to move the game’s release date by a few months, from Fall 2012 to the first quarter of 2013.

We’re doing things that are completely new to Tomb Raider in this game and the additional development time will allow us to put the finishing touches into the game and polish it to a level that you deserve. We believe this is the right choice and I guarantee it will be worth the wait. The game is looking amazing and we can’t wait to show it to everyone at E3 in a few weeks.

Good News? What?  Well first off, as we start hitting the third quarter of  2012 we will be stacked with heavy hitters such as BlackOps2, Hitman  Absolution, GTAV, HALO4, and maybe if your lucky a Princess Diaries in Princessland game. Second, it gives the developers more time to sharpen up the game.

After the adrenaline starts to deplete come early 2013, games like Tomb Raider Reboot and BioShock Infiniti can start to shine. Wow what a great year in video games this is going to be! Look out Drake, here comes Laura!

The good folks over at Sony will be bringing “20 gaming experiences” to this year’s E3. Let us cross our fingers and expect that Uncharted 4 get’s announced and of course there’s the obvious we’re going to see PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and God of War: Ascension. It would be nice to see exclusive content from Rockstar Games like Grand Theft Auto V, but that’s another story. In our opinion Sony might be the winner out of the 3 console makers. Plays games, DVDs, and makes identity theft easy!

Many of you have probably traded or sold consoles before. Maybe the system wasn’t getting enough use, so off to eBay or Craigslist it went. Maybe you decided you like the games on the PS3 better than your 360, so you traded it in to Gamestop so you can pick up some new hardware. Maybe you sent it to an internet celebrity in hopes of them running over your old console with their car on YouTube. Whatever the reason, this news is going to scare some of you: it looks like it’s possible to grab your information such as address, name, and credit card info from your old 360′s hard drive.

Ashley Podhradsky from Drexel University in Philadelphia recently experimented with some common tools and applications on the Internet with a refurbished Xbox 360 console. After doing a little poking, she was able to easily grab the previous owner’s name, address, and credit card information. ”Microsoft does a great job of protecting their proprietary information,” Podhradsky said. “But they don’t do a great job of protecting the user’s data. Anyone can freely download a lot of this software, essentially pick up a discarded game console, and have someone’s identity.” She then goes on to recommend that you make sure to wipe your hard drive clean before you get rid of your system, saying that without wiping the hard drive the consoles are similar to Windows systems when reformatted: saying the data is erased, but with some poking and prodding is able to be resurfaced.

Or you could always go my route and smash the console with a life size version of Cloud’s Buster Sword. It’s fun AND protects your information!

According to close sources of Kotaku, the upcoming Playstation 4 console might be getting “Orbis” as it’s name. This information has already been denied by the people over at Sony, but it’s something that we should keep on the back of our minds for the future. It has been about 5 years since the PS3 came out and even though Sony plans to give the console a ten year life cycle, they know that the PS3 is getting old. With rumors already going around of the XBOX Durango it’s understandable that these start. As of now this is only a rumor, but continue to check with us as more details emerge.

Valve has recently been talking about the idea of getting into the hardware business, but it may not be all talk after all.  According to sources from The Verge, the respected developer behind Half-Life 2, Portal and the acclaimed digital distribution platform Steam, is making a video game console.

The “Steam Box,” as it’s being called, will be able to run PC games and gaming services like Steam’s rival Origin. The console’s basic specs reportedly include a Core i7 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GPU.

“Part of the goal of establishing a baseline for hardware,” The Verge reports, “is that it will give developers a clear life cycle for their products, with changes possibly coming every three to four years.”

No devkit or licensing fee would be required for video game developers looking to bring their games to the Steam Box. Also, different manufacturers would be allowed to make the console.

Additionally, the Steam Box will utilize Steam’s already-revealed “Big Picture” mode, and the console itself may be shipped with a modifiable controller in which parts could swapped out for different games. Reinforcing the existence of such a controller is this patent Valve submitted last year, notes The Verge, who adds that the controller, or even some other Steam Box peripheral like a bracelet, could make use of biometrics.

During meetings at CES, a version of the Steam Box was purportedly demoed to “potential partners,” and the console could be revealed either at this year’s GDC or E3.
