Grand Theft Auto V Update: New Images

by Dude - on Nov 5th 2012 - Comments Off

According to the recent leaks, Grand Theft Auto V is going to have different names of the locations around Los Santos. The recent images have leaked locations such as the mountain range, which we can compare to Mount Chillard and of course Vinewood Hills, Zancudo River, Vespucci Canals and Grapeseed. Recently, Rockstar Games released three high definition posters that show some interesting characters that will likely be seen in the game.

In the photos up to there are some interesting details that we will be talking about in the upcoming GTA Video, but these screenshots talk for themselves. In the first one to the left there is a policewoman arresting a Love Fist fan, who could end up being the girl in the bikini in picture number two. There is also a Hispanic/Latin, who could be the lead character holding a dog on a leash and a baseball bat. Because this is technically California the Latino character could possibly Mexican and the possibilities are endless as far as the storyline goes.

Below are the leaked location screenshots of Grand Theft Auto V

With all of the recently revealed details a second trailer could be coming our way as it has been almost a year since the first trailer was revealed. For more details keep checking with us.

GTA V is coming on the Spring of 2013

by Dude - on Oct 31st 2012 - No Comments

Although the actual and official release date is unknown, Rockstar finally gave a time window in which we can expect Grand Theft Auto V. In a recent image released by Rockstar’s Newswire, the developer has a blonde babe in a red bikini on the beach holding what could be a spoof of the iPhone. What’s interesting of this image is the background, which has a that replica of the Santa Monica Pier seen in one of the recent screenshots that were released. The girl in the image could possibly be a character in the game and the fact that she’s doing the peace sign with her fingers gives it that hippie California feel.

Upon the release of this awesome news, gamers were upset with Rockstar for not announcing the PC version of GTA V. Rockstar responded with the following:

Hey guys, glad to see so much enthusiasm about the release announcement. For those asking about the PC platform, we’re currently focused on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game and don’t have any details to share about a PC version at this time. Anyone that continues to spam the comments section will have their commenting privileges suspended.

As always and expected, Rockstar is going to focus first on the console versions of the game. PC gamers might have to wait about a year or so being that they will eventually port it to the PC. If you didn’t see the previous screenshots and would like to be in tune with all of the latest news on GTA V check out the video below.

Plants vs Zombies 2 is coming in 2013

by Dude - on Aug 21st 2012 - No Comments

Pop Cap games has announced that their popular Plants vs Zombies will have a sequel coming around the fall of 2013. This news is no surprise to us considering that this game did really well on the PC and eventually made it to smartphones and tablets, which was a treat. Let’s hope that it makes it to mobile devices around the same time that it releases, but chances are that the game will be released on the PC and Macs first.

In this new game, Pop cap will have to improve many things that were impossible in the current game. These new things will make or break the game and lets hope that they put out DLC, which was needed in the first game.

The Neo Geo is making a comeback!

by Dude - on Aug 14th 2012 - No Comments

SNK Playmore is making a comeback with the re-release of the Neo Geo console/handheld that around it’s time was quite pricey. If you were a teen in the late 90’s you probably knew of the console and it’s price, which was about $650 at the time. In those days the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo were the consoles that everyone could afford, so that made Nintendo and Sega a lot more popular. The Neo Geo at the time had superior graphics and felt more like an arcade, so the folks over at SNK Playmore made it into the rich man’s console.

With the new Neo Geo X, gamers are going to experience the rebirth of the console and what’s nice about it is that it will be a handheld that you can connect to the TV. Neo Geo X comes with a “4.3″ LCD display internal speakers and about 20 pre loaded games, and let’s hope that more become available to download. Below you can see the full list of games that will come with this baby..

Grand Theft Auto Vice City Nights for the Vita?

by Dude - on Mar 11th 2012 - No Comments

About 2 weeks ago we received a tip that suggested  Grand Theft Auto IV: Stories for the Vita and while it was difficult to believe this, we posted the article to notify you GTA fans out there of this future game. Our tipster gave us a lot of details and it caused quite a stir around N4G and other sites were talking about it. As with any tip, we usually post those type of articles under the rumors section until there is an official confirmation from the publisher.

To give you guys an update, we thought that you should know that Eurogamer posted a screengrab of what appears to be a Grand Theft Auto for the PlayStation Vita. The screen was taken from the major European game store known as Play.com. In the image it shows that the retailer posted Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nights with preorder options, which is a really good hint of a future title. Although this may be a mistake from the retailer there are times in which game stores have sensitive information about future games and their releases.

In my opinion Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nights on the PlayStation Vita would be awesome, but I highly doubt that Rockstar would put all this effort at creating a new Vice City just for the handheld. I can see them doing this for the consoles and then making a slim down version that would work with the handheld. We will have to wait and see, but below you can see the item as it was posted on Play.com.

Rumor: Grand Theft Auto IV: Stories Game Might Be Making it’s Way To The PlayStation Vita

by Dude - on Feb 25th 2012 - 7 Comments

With the PlayStation Vita the list of games will continue to grow as time goes by, but in the end what hardcore gamers want are the triple-a titles that the PSP once had in it’s arsenal. According to a tipster that has close ties some of the people over at Rockstar Games, (the folks behind the popular Grand Theft Auto series) have been working very hard at creating a Grand Theft Auto IV: Stories based game for the PlayStation Vita.

According to our tipster, the game will be based on the same map that we all know as Liberty City, but with a whole new story and character and possible downloadable content. Our tipster went as far as to even mention that the game has been in development for quite some time now. This does make sense being that if you look at the records, Rockstar released a Liberty City Stories game on the PSP only a few months after the handheld’s release here in North America.

Below we have some of the features that you might see on the future Grand Theft Auto Vita.

  • Multiplayer
  • Touch Based Combat
  • Touch Based Steering
  • Back Touch features
  • New Music
  • New Vehicles

As with any tip, we usually post these in the rumor section being that Rockstar has not confirmed or announced this just yet. There are, of course, some things that kind of confirm this such as the fact that Rockstar games is on the list of developers to make games for the handheld. Be sure to follow us on TwitterFacebook,  or  Email as more details come our way and we follow up on this story.

Ubisoft has confirmed Assassin’s Creed III + Release Date

by Dude - on Feb 16th 2012 - 1 Comment

The good folks over at Ubisoft have recently revealed that Assassin’s Creed III will be making it’s way to gamers in October. The CEO, Yves Guillemot went as far as even saying the official release date which is October 31 of this year and apparently the game has been in the works for three years. In his own words Guillemot said  “what we have seen is just fabulous.” and usually an Assassin’s Creed game is. What would be interesting is if the game will be making it to the upcoming Wii U, which is schedule for release very soon.

The Nintendo Wii U might be getting a different name!

by Dude - on Jan 28th 2012 - No Comments

According to our sources, the upcoming Nintendo Wii U will be getting a new name and will become available around this holiday season. The current name “Wii U” will confuse a lot of people out there that are not gamers and are planing to buy the console to a loved one. To avoid disappointments and help with sales, the folks over at Nintendo are going to rename it. This reminds me of Kinect and the Playstation Vita when they were first announced. Back then these devices had different names and eventually it was announced that their names would change.

As of now take this as a rumor, but as always keep checking with us as more details come our way.
