Codemasters will be bringing Formula 1 racing to browsers!

For those Formula 1 racing enthusiasts out there, Codemasters is bringing you Formula 1 racing to web browsers. It would be interesting to see if the game will make it to Facebook similar to that of Farmville and CityVille, but that is just our dream. Apparently Codemasters is looking for talented individuals to get on this project and help with developing games like Formula 1 racing and maybe others.

Friday, 14th January, 2011/… Codemasters Online today announced that it is actively recruiting talent for a new development team to be based at its headquarters in Warwickshire, UK. Following the international success of F1 2010™ for home consoles and PC, the new team will lead the development of an original FORMULA ONE service-based online game.

Set to deliver a fully official and high quality FORMULA ONE browser gaming experience, the as-yet-unnamed game will focus on being highly accessible, thanks to an innovative design approach to car control, while offering persistence and depth of gameplay for a mainstream online gaming audience.

New Trailer for Dirt 3 [Racing]

Watch the latest trailer for the upcoming Codemasters racing game, Dirt 3 that shows you the action and drift that you will get to expect in this game. The great thing about the Dirt franchise is that it will be on the PS3, XBOX 360 and Windows PC, which is because as it will not be an exclusive like Forza and Gran Turismo. In the video below you see the racing done in some kind of construction site and it almost and what really impresses us the most is the drift. You can expect Dirt 3 sometime in 2011 , but for now watch below.

Watch the trailer for Codemasters upcoming first person shooter Operation Flashpoint that looks like it will compete with Black Ops and Medal of Honor. We hope that Codemasters get it right this time with the game and make it as fun or even better than Modern Warfare 2 or even Black Ops, but thats our dream. The Lord of the Rings Online Free to Play Launch

Codemasters announces today that you will get to play The Lord of the Rings Online for free  as they are introducing a brand new pricing structure that is great for gamers. As it turns out you will get your expansions, quest packs à la carte and they will only charge you for that. They are opening their store called LOTRO Store on Tuesday November 2nd 2010, so if you are in Europe check it out.

Friday, 29th October 2010… Codemasters Online announced today that The Lord of the Rings OnlineTM (LOTRO) will be free-to-play across Europe on Tuesday 2nd November 2010.

Introducing an innovative new pricing model, players will be able to download the game and play for free as well as purchase expansions, quest packs, items, and account services à la carte from the new LOTRO Store opening on Tuesday 2nd November 2010.

This major new content update includes Volume III, Book 2: Ride of the Grey Company which extends the game’s award-winning epic story and expands the world of Middle-earth with the new region of Enedwaith. LOTRO will also continue to deliver state-of-the-art graphics and gameplay, as well as a rich set of features that until now could only be found in premium subscription-based online games.

Take a look at these new screenshots and an awesome trailer of the upcoming Bodycount by Codemaster. This trailer shows you some nice first person shooter action for Bodycount. Some people consider this the Successor of Black the video game, but who knows there is still very little information about this game. Below you can see the trailer and screenshots. Expect Bodycount some time in Q1 of 2011 on the XBOX 360 and the Playstation 3.

Codemasters has been working on a pretty nice looking first person shooter that looks similar to a Modern Warfare 2/ Borderlands hybrid. Bodycount has a lady that narrates everything for you and its all mostly intelligence based, but with an urban look to it.
