IT’S FINALLY HERE! Tom Clancy’s GHOST RECON Future Soldier

Since the announcement of the fourth installment of “Ghost Recon” by UBISOFT  back in January 22, 2009, Gamers across the globe have been itching to get their hands on Tom Clancy’s latest release of Future Soldier. Well wait no longer! Officially released at midnight in the U.S. “at select locations of GAMESTOP” players had a go at the future technology and weapons that the game had to offer. Based in Moscow,Russia, gamers get the choice of single player, multi-player, or co-op game modes

Ghost Recon takes place in the near future, where opticle camo 2.0, drones, and Warhounds (Mech-Type Future Tank ) are common on the battlefield. A ghost team is taken out by a dirty bomb, so another Ghost team ” Kozak, 30k, and the leader Pepper,” are sent in to find out where the bomb came from. During their journey you get to experience the features Ubisoft have been tuning up for the past two years such as partially destructible environments, cool team based game play, and realistic situations like constant airstrikes that keep the ground shaking, and your mind boiling, so get in the action now on the Playstation3, Xbox360, and PC, while you still have a ground to stand on.

Gotham City Imposters review

When you think of a superhero game, you probably think of a single-player third-person action adventure game/platformer where you play as a superhero. In Gotham City Imposters, which is a Batman-themed game, you don’t play as a superhero nor is there any third-person action. Instead, GCI is a multiplayer first-person shooter where you play as superhero wannabes.

Dark Souls PC petition seems to be working so far

It looks like that online petition for a PC port of Dark Souls has gotten the game publisher’s attention. Posting on Namco Bandai’s official European forums, Namco’s administrator “shoupinou” gives PC players hope that the acclaimed action RPG Dark Souls might be headed their way:

I honestly wasn’t expecting such a massive support. My boss(es) even came to talk to me about this, after it explodes all around the world. If you wanted to have the attention of Namco Bandai Games, now you have it. The future is in your hands, and I hope you will keep supporting this. I make a personal objective to make sure every relevant people in Namco Bandai Games is in touch with this formidable effort. Great Thanks!

Currently, the aforementioned petition just reached over 74,000 signatures. Keep it up guys!

Is there a possibility of a PC version? It would be a huge success for Namco and FromSoftware [Namco Bandai Games' forums, via Rock, Paper Shotgun]

Nintendo 3DS’ first paid DLC hitting Fire Emblem

The Nintendo 3DS will be getting its first paid downloadable content with the release of the next Fire Emblem game, reports Siliconera, citing Nikkei. The DLC in question is reportedly an “extra game item” that will be sold in March.

Fire Emblem was announced earlier this year during a Nintendo press conference, and according to the game’s Japanese trailer at the time (as seen above), it will be released sometime next year.

The trailer for Contraband [Movies]
