In a statement released this Thursday, Bethesda revealed that the launch of Prey 2 will be delayed. In addition to that, the publisher disputed those rumors that suggested the cancellation of the game, which is developed by Human Head Studios.

“The delay is due to the fact that game development has not progressed satisfactorily this past year, and the game does not currently meet our quality standards,” says Bethesda in a statement. “We have made a substantial investment in game development to deliver the experience fans want. We are determined only to release the AAA game that fans rightfully expect, and are unwilling to compromise our quality standards to meet a release schedule.”

Announced last year, the sci-fi first-person shooter game was speculated for release sometime this year, but after the delay, chances are that it will come out sometime in 2013.

Being that we have been playing Battlefield 3 since the day of it’s release we thought you should see the official gameplay trailer for the Back to Karkland expansion pack. Those that bought the limited edition copy will get this DLC for free and it includes Strike at Karkland, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman and Sharqui Peninsula, which were earlier maps on Battlefield. One that we can’t wait to play is the “Strike at Karkland” map, which has no aircraft’s only tanks, jeeps & artillery.

Take this as a rumor as of now, but according to a Dutch website there is information that sort of suggests that there might be  a new Call of Duty 9: Black Ops 2 game. In the leaked details they are saying that “Iron Wolf” might be the code-name of the game and this information comes from someone that has a friend that works at Treyarch. This person’s friend apparently logged in to XBOX Live and played a Team Deathmatch battle. Below are some screenshots of the leak.

If you are not a fan of these games and like first person shooters you may end up liking the upcoming Battlefield 3. Watch below as this what you going to see at your local gamestore when you got and buy it. This game is obviously going to look great on the consoles, but it will probably look better on the PC and that is the version that I’m buying because of game mods. It will be interesting to see what modders do with this highly advanced game and it’s engine by DICE. Remembering the Days of Desert Combat playing The Village and Basrah was great, so imagine what mods will be available once this game comes out.

This year is all about sequels it seems like it will be a sequel to the Darkness  coming our way.  It will be interesting to see where they take this sequel as it is the such a great franchise and to see it come back it will be a great treat for fans of the original game. The Darkness 2 will bring once again the original character, Jackie Estacado and it is set two years after the original game and brings. Jackie Estacado was able to suppress his darkness powers, but these powers are back and the action starts again.

We will keep you up to date with this game as more news surfaces, but for now at least you know that it’s coming.

Fans of Fable 3 can download for free  a nice set of weapons via XBOX Live for the recent release of Fable III. You can simply download it by going to your XBOX Live and getting it there or by doing it through your computer. In case you didn’t know Fable 3 came out a couple of days, so if you are a fan of the series go and check it out as it is awesome.
