About Nintendo Wii
When you think of the Wii the first thing that comes to mind is motion gaming and Wii Sports. The console came out around the same month that the Playstation 3 went up for sale, but it sold more units and games than almost both the 360 and PS3 combined. The Wii went after the casual market with a very attractive price tag compared to the PS3 and XBOX 360. This price tag and the fact that it worked no matter what made it a great console for families and the best thing was that Nintendo Gamecube games work with the Wii, which made it more affordable.

There were about 73.97 Million console shipped as of June 30, 2010
