Nintendo Celebrates Mario’s 25 year anniversary

by Elias - on Nov 1st 2010 - No Comments

To me personally as a gamer I can admit that the first video game that I ever played was Mario as I was born in the eighties and the first console that I actually owned was Nintendo or as many know it as the NES. Nintendo is very important to gaming, but without Mario and the creator of an Italian plumber and his brother Luigi, Shigeru Miyamoto Nintendo would not be what it is today. Let us celebrate the 25 years of Mario domination in gaming by checking out this awesome video that IGN put out, which brings you the history of Mario.

Canadians can now enjoy Netflix streaming

by Elias - on Oct 2nd 2010 - 1 Comment

If you are in Canada, we have some great news about and that is the Netflix is already working on all consoles up north in Canada.  Playstation 3 owners get all the perks up north as they will be able to stream their movies and TV shows on the PS3 without using that annoying disk. The awesome part of this feature is that if it’s already working in Canada then chances are that the feature will probably be coming our way. Canadians check out the features below on each console.

  • PS3: Available now. It’s an application, so no disc is required (unlike the States). However, users have no ability to create an instant watch queue.
  • Wii: Available now. Disc from Netflix.ca required. Also, no ability to build an instant watch queue.
  • Xbox 360: Coming “soon.”

Gamers out there if you are having difficulties meeting a girl to play with you on XBOX Live or the PSN, you can try your luck with Game Crush. We told you about this one a few months ago, but at that time the site’s owners had to shut it down as they didn’t have the funding to keep the website’s server up and running. Game Crush is now working and if you are smooth enough with one of the game chicks you may get lucky.
