A game that might get your attention will probably be Trine 2, which is available now on the PC and later on this month on consoles. The game might be the best looking side scroll out there and you can see by checking out the trailer up top and screenshots below. As of now, Trine 2 is not available in Pal regions as it hasn’t been confirmed just yet. As always keep checking with us as more details emerge on that.

Next year we’ll be getting two versions of The Amazing Spider-Man: One will be the Spider-Man movie reboot from Marc Webb, while the other will be the video game movie tie-in from Beenox (Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Spider-Man: Edge of Time).
According to a press release (via Joystiq), The Amazing Spider-Man game will be released alongside the movie, taking place after the events of the film. Being written by Hollywood writer Seamus Kevin Fahey (Battlestar Galactica), the game will once again have Spider-Man web-slinging all over an open-ended New York City, this time complete with a new “Web Rush” mechanic and improved navigation and combat.
We’ll be able to catch a new trailer for the game at Spike TV’s Video Game Awards airing this Saturday at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST. In the meantime, you can swing your way over to the game’s official website which says the game will out for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS.
Throw in some cutscenes and add a touching J-pop song and this Japanese TV ad for Final Fantasy XIII-2 hits all the right spots for me.
FF XIII-2 will be released in Japan on Dec. 15, while U.S. and Europe will get the game on Jan. 31 and Feb. 3, respectively, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
After releasing the critically-acclaimed Gears of War 3 and Infinity Blade II, Epic Games is ready to announce the next big thing it’s working on at its North Carolina studio.
At Spike TV’s Video Game Awards, Epic’s one and only Cliff Bleszinski will announce “something new,” something that will be “an entirely fresh and new experience,” teases Bleszinsksi in the above video.
The VGAs airs this Saturday at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST. We’ll find out what Epic’s cooking up until then, but in the meantime, can we assume that this “something” involves guns and shooting things?
One of the things that Sony seems to taking serious is exclusives and this time around they bring us The last of Us. The details on this title are yet to be cleared, but up top you can see for yourself that whatever it is that Sony is working on will be something huge. The last Last of Us seems to be some kind of an emergency/apocalyptic tale as it shows you a world in which something big has happened. For now we just have the trailer, but be sure to keep checking with us as more details emerge.
