Capcom has announced today that the demo for Steel Battalion Heavy Armor is now available on XBOX Live. This game is exclusive to XBOX 360 consoles that have Kinect in them, so if you have the motion sensor technology, you will probably enjoy it. With Steel Battalion Heavy Armor you experience the true feeling of war by taking control of a Vertical Tank and getting introduced to your fellow crew members in the first two levels of the game.

There has been some major legal issues that Microsoft has been going through lately regarding their popular Xbox 360 console. So major that it may lose access to their largest audience in the world. If you haven’t been following the news, Motorola and Microsoft have been in a major legal battle over Microsoft infringing on some of Motorola’s patents in their gaming console. A US International Trade Commission judge has ruled that Microsoft has infringed upon four of the five patents that Motorola has accused Microsoft of infringing upon, which led to a ruling by the Mannheim Court in Germany that Microsoft is guilty and therefor can’t sell the console in Germany. This has been temporarily blocked due to the US court issuing a restraining order preventing Motorola from enforcing the injunction, but that may be gone soon along with the ban being applied to the states as well.

US judge David Shaw, the judge who ruled that Microsoft infringed on Motorola’s four patents, has advised the International Trade Commission to ban the imports of 4GB and 250 GB Xbox 360 consoles to the United States due to the infringing patents. If the ITC follows through with the recommendation by Shaw, then the only hope for Microsoft would be President Barack Obama reviewing the decision and overruling it within the 60 days it will take for the ruling to pass to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Court. Along with this, Shaw also suggested Microsoft post a bond equivalent to 7% of all 360 consoles currently unsold within the US. This may be steep, but compared to the 100% Motorola was asking for Microsoft should consider themselves lucky.

What made me laugh most out of this whole debacle is Microsoft’s reason for why this shouldn’t pass, stating that such a ban “would leave Sony and Nintendo the dominant force in the market”. Way to stay classy, Microsoft. Judge Shaw shared my line of logic, saying that intellectual property was far more important.

Microsoft fans may want to pay close attention to the news regarding this legal battle(and possibly be ready to write letters to either the ITC or to the Obama administration), and anyone who has been thinking about getting a 360 lately may wish to snatch one up before they may be off the shelves entirely. Movements across the world are already happening to boycott Motorola products as well. As for me, I’ll be sitting on the sideline with a bag of popcorn and using yet another dead 360 as a coaster for my cool beverage as I watch the chaos unfold.

A ghost team is taken out by a dirty bomb, so another Ghost team ” Kozak, 30k, and the leader Pepper,” are sent in to find out where the bomb came from. During their journey you get to experience the features Ubisoft have been tuning up for the past two years such as partially destructible environments, cool team based game play, and realistic situations like constant airstrikes that keep the ground shaking, and your mind boiling, so get in the action now on the Playstation3, Xbox360, and PC, while you still have a ground to stand on.

Super exited as we get closer to the release of one of my all time favorite games Double Dragon!  One of my first impressions of the game back in 1987 (when ” Technos Japan” Double Dragon made its  debut on the NES in N.America by “Tradewest”) was WOW I cant believe my friend and I can fight together at the same time and use the objects around us as weapons! Abodo never could stand up after that Barrel to the dome, but now Billy and Jimmy Lee have bigger problems to face. Summer of 2012 is when the new DOUBLE DRAGON NEON is expected to hit the HD big screen, and Skullmageddon “the new boss”has no problem holding on to Marian for awhile longer!

WAYFORWARD & MAJESTICO Entertainment have taken on the challenge of bringing the legacy back to life. Double Dragon Neon is an 80′s style 2-D side scroller on steroids. Billy and Jimmy look insane with their new 3-D makeover, HD graphics, and tight pants. Expect to see Double Dragon fight its way onto the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 systems this summer 2012.

In a recent trailer entitled “Payback” you get a glimpse of the new Downloadable content coming to Batman: Arkham City. In the video below there isn’t much on Harley Quinn herself, but you do get to see her in some of the cut-scenes. There is of course some nice action coming from Batman and Robin, but still no no cooperatively if you were expecting any. Harley Quinn’s Revenge DLC is scheduled to release on May 29, 2012.

There have been various Linkedin in profiles and resumes that suggest the sequel to some really awesome games. These games are Battlefield Bad Company 3, Mirror’s Edge 2, and Deus EX 4, which could possibly be in early development already. With E3 around the corner, these titles will probably get announced at the expo this year. We hope that you take this as a rumor being that this information is not coming from either EA or the folks over Square Enix.

The Mirror’s Edge 3 news comes from ex EA software engineer posted that he had worked on a “wandering of crowd system within the Unreal 3 Engine.” Then another former EA employee posted that he had build “new gadget and interactive features” for Mirror’s Edge 2 as well as leaderboards and a minigame.

Battlefield Bad Company is talked about from a user that suggested he “provided video game prototype, design, and demo feedback on various AAA titles including Battlefield: Bad Company 3, Dead Space 2, Devil May Cry 5, and other unannounced titles.”

And last, but not least, there was a job listing also on Linkedin that suggest Deus Ex 4. In the listing, which has been taken down since then, it was described that a major Canadian company is looking for a cinematic director. This company was also looking for programmers, developers and artists for a “well known and respected action/adventure title, with elements of choice and stealth within the gameplay.” The game was also described as a “semi open-world action adventure title that responds to player choice and interaction.” Deus EX is franchise that gets developed by Eidos Montreal, who happen to be a Subsidiary of Square Enix.

As we said up top, this is only a rumor, so take this as a grain of salt. We will have to wait and see what happens over at E3 as this could be the best so far.

Battlefield is usually known for its huge open world environments taking advantage of the Frostbite2 engine, this time they are focusing more on Infantry themed game-play similar to that of Modern Warfare style head on massacre set to add a more competitive gaming experience.Think Operation Metro style maps that are said to have added perks such as high definition destruction, which in turn delivers highly destructible environments. Next to the 10 new weapons that include guns like the SPAS-12 Semi-Auto Shotgun, or the MTAR-21 also known as the TAR-21 assault rifle. There  will be 5 unique dog tags, and new assignments, “To unlock the guns of course!” If that’s not enough for you, rumors of a Battlefield Premium have been floating around the web lately,” Even though we already have Battlelog that’s free”which is said to be a COD: Elite type service. Max Payne 3 is available in stores all across North American shores. This was a game that we got to play at Pax East this year and it was awesome to see what this new game brings to the table. As of today only the PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360 versions of the game are available, but that of course will change on May 18 when the PC version of the game comes out. If you are a fan of Grand Theft Auto and are looking forward for GTA V, Max Payne will be using the same game engine and should serve as a glimpse for things to come.

In the new story, Max Payne is no longer a cop. He is a little bit older and pretty much an alcoholic spending most of his days drinking his life away. While at a bar, he runs into Raul Passos, who get’s him into all of this trouble and has him going around Sao Paulo and Brazil’s famous Favelas’.

This is probably the best Max Payne game so far, so be sure to pick it up if you happen to be a fan of the series or a fan of Grand Theft Auto.

We truly believe that we have something very special on our hands and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Our priority now is to make sure we fully deliver the very highest quality game. In order to do this, we have decided to move the game’s release date by a few months, from Fall 2012 to the first quarter of 2013.

We’re doing things that are completely new to Tomb Raider in this game and the additional development time will allow us to put the finishing touches into the game and polish it to a level that you deserve. We believe this is the right choice and I guarantee it will be worth the wait. The game is looking amazing and we can’t wait to show it to everyone at E3 in a few weeks.

Good News? What?  Well first off, as we start hitting the third quarter of  2012 we will be stacked with heavy hitters such as BlackOps2, Hitman  Absolution, GTAV, HALO4, and maybe if your lucky a Princess Diaries in Princessland game. Second, it gives the developers more time to sharpen up the game.

After the adrenaline starts to deplete come early 2013, games like Tomb Raider Reboot and BioShock Infiniti can start to shine. Wow what a great year in video games this is going to be! Look out Drake, here comes Laura!
