According to our sources, the upcoming Nintendo Wii U will be getting a new name and will become available around this holiday season. The current name “Wii U” will confuse a lot of people out there that are not gamers and are planing to buy the console to a loved one. To avoid disappointments and help with sales, the folks over at Nintendo are going to rename it. This reminds me of Kinect and the Playstation Vita when they were first announced. Back then these devices had different names and eventually it was announced that their names would change.

As of now take this as a rumor, but as always keep checking with us as more details come our way.

Next year we’ll be getting two versions of The Amazing Spider-Man: One will be the Spider-Man movie reboot from Marc Webb, while the other will be the video game movie tie-in from Beenox (Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Spider-Man: Edge of Time).

According to a press release (via Joystiq), The Amazing Spider-Man game will be released alongside the movie, taking place after the events of the film. Being written by Hollywood writer Seamus Kevin Fahey (Battlestar Galactica), the game will once again have Spider-Man web-slinging all over an open-ended New York City, this time complete with a new “Web Rush” mechanic and improved navigation and combat.

We’ll be able to catch a new trailer for the game at Spike TV’s Video Game Awards airing this Saturday at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST. In the meantime, you can swing your way over to the game’s official website which says the game will out for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS.

Dancing games are a great to lose weight especially if you are a gamer. If you follow country music you will probably be happy to know the track list that will be on Country Dance 2 for the Nintendo Wii. With big names like Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler this is a game worth checking out. Country Dance 2 will be available on November 1 of this year. In Japan the obsession for sexy school girls is huge and they use them to pretty much sell anything.
