Just weeks away from our FIRST, Hardcore first-person shooter on the PS Vita, and believed to also be the most anticipated game yet on the portable handheld goddess, What are we to expect from the game?

Well let’s see; 8 player competitive co-op, Team Deathmatch, 6 multiplayer environments, first of its kind precise dual analog controls with front and rear touch control, Party voice chat support, Trophies, Angry Chimeras, Carbines, and the list goes on and on. If that’s not enough to get your heart pounding, Then maybe the newly announced “Survival Mode” will. Check it out May 29th 2012 to Join the Resistance!

The remastered version of Persona 4: Golden is coming our way to the PS Vita this fall. Golden received a great metascore and it even received a couple of “Editor’s Choice” awards, so it was inevitable that the folks over at Atlus bring this game to the Vita. It is probably one of the best role playing games out there bringing in an enhanced and expanded portable version of the highly acclaimed original. Below, we have some screenshots and you expect Persona 4: Golden sometime this fall.

Sega characters will once again be racing head-to-head as Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed has been revealed.

The racing game, which is a sequel to 2010’s Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, will feature a mash-up of new and returning Sega characters like Sonic, Dr. Eggman, Super Monkey Ball’s AiAi, Golden Axe’s Gilian Thunderhead, and Skies of Arcadia’s Vyse. Like the name of the game suggests, you’ll now be able to drive in transformable vehicles, which will change into cars, boats and planes if you’re on land, water and air, respectively. In one track, for example, the road will collapse making your car turn into a boat as you now have to traverse a river rapid.

Sonic & All-Stars will include new tracks, with two based on Super Monkey Ball and Panzer Dragoon. There will also be a new mechanic letting your “All-Star bar” power up faster, and a new, “fair” weapon system will be implemented allowing you to block and dodge attacks. Additionally, the game will have an “enhanced” online multiplayer mode, along with Grand Prix and Battle Arena modes.

Sonic & All-Stars will be racing out in “late” 2012 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo 3DS. It will also be available as a digital download on PC. Click here for more screenshots of the game.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Changes the Rules of Racing [Sega Blog]

Take a look at these screenshots for upcoming Japanese import and tactical RPG Gungnir on the PSP. This game comes from the awesome people behind Riviera, Yggdra Union, and Knights in the Nightmare series and it will probably be one of the last awesome games to make it on to the PSP. It would be nice to see this game come out on the PS Vita as well, but that’s just wishful thinking on our part.

Gungnir will become available on June 20, 2012 exclusively on the PlayStation Potable (PSP), but for now enjoy these screenshots as well as boxart.

A thing that was a bit disappointing of the PlayStation Vita was that for some reason Sony didn’t bring the Passport program to North America. Available now, Atlus has put some of the games that were PSP only on to the Playstation Vita. With games like Class of Heroes, the Persona series it will be interesting to see where this goes and most importantly if other game publishers and developers follow their footsteps on this. About 2 weeks ago we received a tip that suggested  Grand Theft Auto IV: Stories for the Vita and while it was difficult to believe this, we posted the article to notify you GTA fans out there of this future game. Our tipster gave us a lot of details and it caused quite a stir around N4G and other sites were talking about it. As with any tip, we usually post those type of articles under the rumors section until there is an official confirmation from the publisher.

To give you guys an update, we thought that you should know that Eurogamer posted a screengrab of what appears to be a Grand Theft Auto for the PlayStation Vita. The screen was taken from the major European game store known as Play.com. In the image it shows that the retailer posted Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nights with preorder options, which is a really good hint of a future title. Although this may be a mistake from the retailer there are times in which game stores have sensitive information about future games and their releases.

In my opinion Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nights on the PlayStation Vita would be awesome, but I highly doubt that Rockstar would put all this effort at creating a new Vice City just for the handheld. I can see them doing this for the consoles and then making a slim down version that would work with the handheld. We will have to wait and see, but below you can see the item as it was posted on Play.com.

When you think of the Persona series the first thing that comes to mind is Atlus and then of course Catherine as it was an imported game. It seems like a new trailer has emerged over in Japan and let’s hope that the cool people at Atlus bring this game to North American shores. With touch capabilities the sky is the limit and with a Persona game it would something worth playing if they bring it here. Watch the video by clicking

With the PlayStation Vita the list of games will continue to grow as time goes by, but in the end what hardcore gamers want are the triple-a titles that the PSP once had in it’s arsenal. According to a tipster that has close ties some of the people over at Rockstar Games, (the folks behind the popular Grand Theft Auto series) have been working very hard at creating a Grand Theft Auto IV: Stories based game for the PlayStation Vita.

According to our tipster, the game will be based on the same map that we all know as Liberty City, but with a whole new story and character and possible downloadable content. Our tipster went as far as to even mention that the game has been in development for quite some time now. This does make sense being that if you look at the records, Rockstar released a Liberty City Stories game on the PSP only a few months after the handheld’s release here in North America.

Below we have some of the features that you might see on the future Grand Theft Auto Vita.
