Angry Birds Space: Is there some extra content coming to T-Mobile Android Phone owners?

by Elias - on Mar 29th 2012 - No Comments

In a recent tweet by the people over at Rovio (The Guys Behind Angry Birds) have shared an image that looks pretty interesting and makes us wonder if T-Mobile and Walmart are up to something. In case you didn’t know, T-Mobile is one of the major carriers out there that currently does not have an iPhone in their lineup of phones. This leads us to believe that Angry Birds in space might have some extra stuff coming and that it will be exclusive to T-Mobile customers.

Below you can see the actual Tweet that states

“Something big is on the way… but where!?

Maybe Walmart, who sells the Family Mobile deal for T-Mobile.

Well have to wait and see, but as always keep checking with us as more details come our wau. Be sure to follow us on Twitter, Facebook, or Email as we will continue to follow up on this.

World’s First MMOs to Unite Desktop and Mobile Devices

Spacetime Studios Fulfills Mission of Ubiquitous Gaming Experience

AUSTIN, Texas – Dec. 08, 2011 – Spacetime Studios has achieved an industry milestone by removing the barriers between MMO players on different platforms. Pocket Legends and Star Legends, the world’s largest mobile MMO games, are now the first MMOs in history to allow people to play the same game together on desktop computers, smart phones and tablets.

Spacetime Games are played on a single global server, which means it is now possible for someone in the U.S. to play on their iPhone with someone in Germany on their Android tablet and someone in South Korea on their computer.

“There have always been technical walls between players of different platforms,” says Gary Gattis, CEO of Spacetime Studios. “Now, people are free to play on the device they choose with anyone, anywhere, anytime, whether they are at home or on-the-go.”

Pocket Legends and Star Legends are Powered by Spacetime, technology built to support a global player-base on different devices and platforms interacting together within the same server-set. Spacetime Studios integrated Google Chrome Native Client (NaCl) technology with the Spacetime Engine to create the desktop clients for Pocket Legends and Star Legends.

Pocket Legends and Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles are the world’s largest mobile MMOs with more than seven million downloads and a million play sessions weekly. Currently, Pocket Legends and Star Legends are playable on most Apple and Android mobile devices as well as Windows, Mac and Linux computers.

Square Enix is Opening an Android based app store!

by Elias - on Nov 22nd 2011 - No Comments

Being that Android is becoming much more popular than iOS, the folks over at Square Enix will be launching an Android based app store. This is something that Android needed and hopefully other publishers follow the Square Enix aproach and bring their games on these smartphones. With dual core processors, Android phones will make it possible for gamers of all types enjoy their gaming on the go and let’s not forget Gingerbread & Ice Cream sandwich versions of Android that will make things run smoother.

The app store, which will be named “Square Enix Market app” is set to launch on December 1, 2011 and will feature some cool games like Dragon Quest Monsters Most Wanted!, Chaos Ring, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and Itadaki Street.

If you are living in Japan and are using the KDDI network you will be granted exclusive access to the store at launch. Those that are using the DoCoMo & Softbank networks will not have to wait long until it becomes available. Unfortunately North American Square Enix Fans out there will not be treated with the app as it is a Japanese exclusive, however it’s still nice to see that a game publisher is thinking about Android.
