Trendy Entertainment has released it’s latest Hero Class DLC “Summoner,” for Dungeon Defenders earlier this week. Online Tower Defense RPG says very little about one of the fastest selling downloadable games of all times. Dungeon Defenders is an original hybrid of two hot genres: Tower Defense and Online Cooperative Real Time Strategy Action-RPG!  Hero’s like Squire, Apprentice, and Monk, now take a seat while an unknown entity from the Crystalline Dimension “Summoner” bakes up his own plan to wage a war across Etheria. Summoner is for the use of the Master Strategist. With abilities such as “Phase shift” (which allows you to move unnoticeably across the realm) or “Flash Heal” (which heals all allied defenses and units within a certain radius instantly), Team up and fight on 15 unique maps, 30 challenges, and 4 difficulty settings; raiding loots, casting spells, and leveling up to build the strongest hero and highest score in the kingdom. Get your copy today via Steam PC and Mac, and start transforming those Sentient Crystals to Minions!

The developers of Sleeping Dogs were inspired by the folks behind Arkham City when it comes to the fighting. For the racing and driving end of things, Need For Speed inspired that and after playing this game, I can clearly see that. Be sure to look out for Sleeping Dogs around the end of summer and below we have some really awesome screenshots.

Sleep is not an option come June 2012, the approximate date Dice is planning on rolling out it’s highly anticipated first of 3 expansion packs “Close Quarters”. Included in this pack are 4 new maps and 10 new weapons to accompany all your hardcore killing needs! Battlefield is usually known for its huge open world environments taking advantage of the Frostbite2 engine, this time they are focusing more on Infantry themed game-play similar to that of Modern Warfare style head on massacre set to add a more competitive gaming experience.Think Operation Metro style maps that are said to have added perks such as high definition destruction, which in turn delivers highly destructible environments. Next to the 10 new weapons that include guns like the SPAS-12 Semi-Auto Shotgun, or the MTAR-21 also known as the TAR-21 assault rifle. There  will be 5 unique dog tags, and new assignments, “To unlock the guns of course!” If that’s not enough for you, rumors of a Battlefield Premium have been floating around the web lately,” Even though we already have Battlelog that’s free”which is said to be a COD: Elite type service. I was browsing the clothing and accessory outlet Urban Outfitters in my local mall earlier today (Happy Mother’s Day!) and I came across this Space Invaders — or rather Space “Intruders” — multi-tool keychain. At $14, it comes complete with a keyring, bottle-opener and not one, but two types of screwdrivers. Because you can never have enough screwdrivers when you’re on-the-move, apparently.

The remastered version of Persona 4: Golden is coming our way to the PS Vita this fall. Golden received a great metascore and it even received a couple of “Editor’s Choice” awards, so it was inevitable that the folks over at Atlus bring this game to the Vita. It is probably one of the best role playing games out there bringing in an enhanced and expanded portable version of the highly acclaimed original. Below, we have some screenshots and you expect Persona 4: Golden sometime this fall.

Bethesda has just revealed on their blog that the name of their upcoming Skyrim DLC is called “Dawnguard.”

No other details are provided, but Bethesda posted a picture of the familiar-looking Dovakiin with glowing eyes (which can be seen above). Dawnguard will be available for the Xbox 360 this “summer,” and more details are said to be revealed at E3.

Sega characters will once again be racing head-to-head as Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed has been revealed.

The racing game, which is a sequel to 2010’s Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, will feature a mash-up of new and returning Sega characters like Sonic, Dr. Eggman, Super Monkey Ball’s AiAi, Golden Axe’s Gilian Thunderhead, and Skies of Arcadia’s Vyse. Like the name of the game suggests, you’ll now be able to drive in transformable vehicles, which will change into cars, boats and planes if you’re on land, water and air, respectively. In one track, for example, the road will collapse making your car turn into a boat as you now have to traverse a river rapid.

Sonic & All-Stars will include new tracks, with two based on Super Monkey Ball and Panzer Dragoon. There will also be a new mechanic letting your “All-Star bar” power up faster, and a new, “fair” weapon system will be implemented allowing you to block and dodge attacks. Additionally, the game will have an “enhanced” online multiplayer mode, along with Grand Prix and Battle Arena modes.

Sonic & All-Stars will be racing out in “late” 2012 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo 3DS. It will also be available as a digital download on PC. Click here for more screenshots of the game.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Changes the Rules of Racing [Sega Blog]

Chinese developer, Yingpei Games, has announced the official Mercenary Ops multilayer modes. In the upcoming third person shooter, PC gamers will get to play a variety of modes that should keep you shooter fans out there busy for quite some time. Those of you that like to engage in the killings of zombies, the “Survival” mode might be the thing for you. Below you can see all of the details on the different game modes for Mercenary Ops and look out for the official review, which is coming soon.

CO-OP MISSIONS

Assault (5 players)
Push forward with a team in objective-based missions to gain access to equipment and upgrades. Fight against ruthless enemies that become more challenging behind every door, drawing the player closer to the epic battle at the end of their assault.

Survival (5 players)

Battle for survival by fending off seemingly endless waves of attacking zombies and other walking dead species. Prepare for the horrors that lie ahead by repairing defenses and earning points to unlock the weapons as well as ammunition needed to survive.

Invasion (8 Players)

Take on waves of the enemy horde as they push forward in a path of destruction.  Use time wisely and make shots count against deadly AI-controlled foes and mini-bosses to earn in-game currency.

COMPETITIVE

Team Deathmatch (8 v
Compete in a kill-based match-up across changing combat zones. In this fast-paced, tactical team battle, triumph over the opposition and earn a place at the top of leader board.

Demolition (8 v
Engage in  an objective-based struggle of destruction by working with a team of conspiring mercenaries to seek and destroy a targeted bomb site. Defend against the opposing force by finding and defusing their bomb, or eliminate the threat altogether to claim victory.

Elimination (8 v
Take up arms against another team of opposing mercenaries in a tactical bout to determine the victor. When the only thing that matters is obliterating the enemy, even the smallest mistake can be grounds for defeat in this high stakes, elimination-based competition.
