While hanging out at the ACAM at Pax East 2012

by Elias - on Apr 10th 2012 - No Comments

I had a great experience hanging out at the American Classic Arcade Museum (ACAM). Although I might have been in diapers or probably not even born during the times in which games like Missile Command and Pac Man JR were the Call of Duty and GTA’s of those days, ACAM brings back the memories of the arcade and all the fun around visiting one. Arcades are hard to find these days and hanging out with the people that enjoy being in one was quite a treat.

Up top you can see a short video taken at this year’s American Classic Arcade Museum over at Pax East. The video might bring back some nostalgia especially with the awesome 70′s and 80′s music in the background with songs like Poison – Nothing, but a good good time and Joe Walsh‘s – Life’s been good to me.

Amy Winehouse has died!

by Elias - on Jul 23rd 2011 - No Comments

English singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse has been found dead in her London apartment this afternoon.  She was known for making great music with songs like “Im No Good” and “Back To Black” which were very big international hits and whats worst is her age as she was only 27 years old. She had quite a few health issues like lung problems due to her cocaine addiction and emphysema.

Here’s what the police had to say in a statement.

“Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased. On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.”

Our condolences go to her family as this a rough time for them and were sure that fans everywhere are very sad for losing such talent.
