The American Pie series of movies was great, but it seems like everything went down hill right after American Wedding came out. With American Reunion the whole original cast is back after ten years living and life changes. This time around Jim has a kid, Stiffler is still the Stiffmeister, Oz and Heather are no longer together and instead of Paul Finch getting with Stiffler’s mom it seems like Jim’s Dad will be her new lover. If you are going to watch a movie you might be interested to check out Wanderlust. Starting Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston, Wanderlust is the romantic comedy that you can take your future girlfriend to in the hopes of showing her your sensitive side and all that junk. Available in theaters now is Underworld Awakening, which is shaping up to be one of the best vampire movies of this year. With the sexy Kate Beckinsale that plays Selene in the movie you can only expect the best. You’ve soaked up the first full-length trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, now ogle at the debut trailer of Peter Jackson’s prequel to The Lord of The Rings trilogy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
As the Huffington Post reports, The Hobbit follows Biblo Baggins as he, along with a fellow band of dwarves, attempt to reclaim the “Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor” from Smaug the dragon.
Some characters from the LOTR movies will return as the original actors reprise their roles: Gangalf the Grey (Sir Ian McKellan) and Gollum (Andy Serkis) will be back, along with Frodo (Elijah Wood), Legolas (Orlando Bloom) and Galadriel (Cate Blanchett) who will reportedly play smaller roles.
The Hobbit will be released in December 2012, while the second Hobbit movie, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, is reportedly scheduled for 2013.
