Can WOW make you unfit for public office?

Instead of focusing on the issues that matter to the people, the Republican Party over in the state of Maine has apparently attacked Democratic running opponent, Colleen Lachowicz for playing video games. Colleen is not a drug addict nor does she have Swiss accounts or has an alcohol problem. She enjoys playing World of Warcraft, which according to the Republican party this is what ”lazy and immature” people do.

Rarely we talk about politicians, but this is quite offensive to video enthusiasts especially with a game like World of Warcraft, which has more than 800k users. If Colleen enjoys playing video games in the privacy of her home this is not the taxpayer’s business. Our business is to be concerned of the things that she does while at work and not in her free time.

Sometimes the people that run for public office use video games as an escape goat to make us look bad. This is happening right now with the Republican Party in Maine.

Using this link or the link below let the Maine GOP know that a candidate is being attacked for playing video games, which have nothing to do with real life. World of Warcraft is just a fantasy game and someone needs to explain to the Republican Party the difference.
