With the Nintendo Wii U’s release date officially announced the folks over at Activision and Treyarch put up a presentation for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on the Wii U. In the demonstration you actually get to see the use of the Gamepad, which many thought it was only going to be used for basic games.

In previous versions of Call of Duty, the developers didn’t have the ability to make games with the best graphics. The Wii console didn’t have the power to process such powerful games.

The technology behind the Wii U competes with the PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360, so games that require more resources will work. In the demo it is also announced that on the gamepad as well as the TV, Black Ops 2 will run in full HD as well as in 60 frames per second.

Below you can watch some of the presentation and be sure to enter for a chance to win Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 with our current giveaway, which will end on the release date of the game.
