SNK Playmore is making a comeback with the re-release of the Neo Geo console/handheld that around it’s time was quite pricey. If you were a teen in the late 90′s you probably knew of the console and it’s price, which was about $650 at the time. In those days the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo were the consoles that everyone could afford, so that made Nintendo and Sega a lot more popular. The Neo Geo at the time had superior graphics and felt more like an arcade, so the folks over at SNK Playmore made it into the rich man’s console.
With the new Neo Geo X, gamers are going to experience the rebirth of the console and what’s nice about it is that it will be a handheld that you can connect to the TV. Neo Geo X comes with a “4.3″ LCD display internal speakers and about 20 pre loaded games, and let’s hope that more become available to download. Below you can see the full list of games that will come with this baby..
