A couple of months ago, we received a tip that suggested a version of Grand Theft Auto IV exclusive to the PlayStation Vita. At first we were skeptical of the details, but we went ahead and posted this info and let’s just say that the article exploded. It went everywhere and it was even translated into a couple of languages. We all know that Grand Theft Auto will eventually make it to the Vita. Rockstar is one of the developers on the list to make games for the handheld, so it’s just a matter of time. It is also a great opportunity for Sony to sell more handhelds and also a way for Rockstar Leeds to use it’s people for that studio, which handles the mobile gaming part of Rockstar Games.
In the recent rumor bag, a PlayStation survey has apparently leaked that Grand Theft Auto is likely to come to the Vita. Below you can see the screens and judge for yourself.
If I had to guess this game could be Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Stories on the Vita and mobile devices. It could also be Vice City Nights, which was hinted at Play.com. Let’s hope that this rumor becomes a reality and that Rockstar finally announces a PlayStation Vita GTA or Red Dead Redemption.
