E3: Persona 4 Golden Trailer!

Atlus has a reputation of publishing some awesome, quirky games. One of their most beloved among fans is easily the Persona series, a series of RPG games that involve high-school age children having to fight some form of paranormal entities using parts of their personalities they summon called Personas.  You’ll end up balancing saving the world and living your normal life, and the relationships you maintain with friends and family end up strengthening your various Personas. Then as my friends and I like to joke, you’ll end up climbing to the top of a giant tower to play fisticuffs with God. All that sounds weird on it’s own, but combine them together and you get a lengthy and surprisingly deep RPG experience.

The most popular of the series and newest, Persona 4, is getting a remake on the PS Vita titled Persona 4 Golden. Along with expanded story and a whopping 40% more dialogue, the game is looking very pretty on the Vita. The remake got a nice little showing at E3 this year, including the trailer shown up at the top. The PS2 RPG was already a smash hit, so improving on the game can only be a guaranteed seller for both Atlus and Sony, who right now really need to sell more of their new handheld. If you haven’t played Persona 4 yet, or just want some more use out of your Vita, this is a must have game. Watch the trailer, and be ready to embark on an epic adventure on October 23rd. As for me, I have 4 months to scrape enough money together to get both. Anyone want to donate to the “Get Clint Persona 4 Golden” fund?
