As the PlayStation Blog revealed, one of Sly Cooper’s ancestors you’ll get to play as in Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is ninja (and sushi inventor!) Rioichi Cooper. First introduced in the original Sly Cooper game, Rioichi is described as the Ninja Spire Landing master who harnesses a jumping ability called the Leaping Dragon Technique.
Other ancestors are also said to be playable as each features their own unique abilities and personalities. Additionally, Thieves in Time will shift between different time periods, and the Cooper Clan ancestors will eventually join Sly’s crew.
Thieves in Time will be sneaking out sometime next year.
