by Elias - on Aug 24th 2010 - No Comments

Take a look at this awesome trailer announced over at Gamescom of Star Wars: The Old Republic Space Combat. The game play looks promising even to people like me, who are not big fans of Star Wars in general. This game developed by Bioware and will be published by LucasArts, who does all the Star Wars games. The is all Multilayer and it has a asteroid feel to it, so lots of space battles and overall fun stuff.

There is a Medal of Honor controversy!

by Elias - on Aug 24th 2010 - No Comments

EA Games is in some controversy over Medal Of Honor and the game’s Afghanistan battles where some of the online players will play as Islamic insurgents. Family of fallen soldiers are not happy because these battles remind them of what these soldiers went through while in Afghanistan and with the recent casualties this causes a concern.

Karen Meredith, mother of a fallen US soldier says,

“Right now we’re going into a really, really bad time in Afghanistan and we’ve just come off of the worst month of casualties in the whole war and this game is going to be released in October…So, families who are burying their children are going to be seeing this and playing this game. My son didn’t get to start over when he was killed. His life is over, and I have to deal with this every day…it’s just not a game.”

EA defending Medal Of Honor

“In the multiplayer set-up, soldiers are fighting against the Taliban much like Allies fight Nazis in WWII shooter games. In Medal of Honour multiplayer, we give gamers the opportunity to play both sides”

In the end people this is just a game and although it is really sad to hear about a fallen soldier, we should use these games as a reminder that we were attacked on September 11. We really shouldn’t forget that because that was a really sad day in history.

There might be a Red Dead Redemption part 2

by Elias - on Aug 24th 2010 - 1 Comment

This is just a rumor as of now, but close sources to us have revealed that a Red Dead Redemption part two is probably in development as of now. The rumor make sense, being that if you played Red Dead Redemption and finished it, it almost seems like the game needs more and people like this game very much. This news has not been confirmed by Rockstar, but the rumor here is that it will probably come out as DLC and it might be called The Revenge of Jack, who is John Marston’s son.

Keep checking with us as more news emerges, but for now enjoy regular Red Dead Redemption or check out the trailer below.

Take a look at the New Mafia 2 trailer “Earning Your Keep”

by Elias - on Aug 24th 2010 - No Comments

Feast your eyes on this awesome new trailer for 2K’s upcoming Mafia 2, which is entitled Earning Your Keep. This game made a nice impression on us back at Pax East and while playing the demo we are happy to say that it feels really good to play. The trailer features one of our favorite 50′s song “Money” by Barret Strong and the best thing is that it keeps that feeling of 50′s and 60′s authenticity. Check the trailer below.
