Check out this trailer, which is NSFW about the history of online internet porn. The movie I’m talking about here is called Middle Men starting Luke Wilson, who plays Jack Harris the man that created the first billing system that caters to billing people that want to watch porn over the internet. Back in 1995 this was a big deal because there were no laws about this and at the time the internet was very new, and because computers were awful.

Watch below and viewer discretion is advised and you must be 18 years old to watch this.

In the trailer you get to see the story of Jack Harris the pioneer of the online internet porn business.

Hulu looses about 45 Percent of it’s viewers

by Elias - on Jul 30th 2010 - 4 Comments

Popular online TV service, Hulu has lost about 45% of it’s viewers and well it’s something that was expected as soon as they revealed that they were bringing with Hulu Plus for a fee. Unfortunately Disney/ABC/ NBC, the owners of the site didn’t realize that people do not want cable on the internet, we want things to be on Demand with a click of a button. Then there’s Hulu Plus, which is a great idea, but why the ads? It sucks enough when it’s free, but you are paying nine bucks you expect a premium.

Even the folks over at Netflix knew that so when you are watching a show through their awesome instant queue you get no ads and just the show. To make things worst Hulu doesn’t even let you watch full seasons of shows so they pick what you get to watch, which makes it a very limited viewing experience. On a personal note, I had an experience where I started watching Lost a little late, so I started on Netflix and watched all 5 seasons because you can stream it all on Netflix, then I find out about season six of Lost and at the time, I was watching the first episodes of Lost so I figure I could catch the episodes on Hulu. I then found out that they only let you watch like the first 5 episodes which they pick for you, so they assume that everybody watches these shows on schedule, well let me tell you people that own Hulu, people have busy lives.

Advice to the owners of HULU
Put these full seasons online and make them all available for people to watch and stop dictating what episode people should watch and what they shouldn’t. When you dictate when people should watch an episode you become Comcast and to tell you the truth Comcast sucks, there service is crappy, there prices are ridiculous.

The service that I respect the most is SouthParkStudios.com because they let you watch all their episodes with some ads in them. They stop all these pirate websites, putting it out there and making every episodes available to everybody.
