Twisted Junk urges you to boycott Virgin Group
So we love to travel and this is something that we do quite frequently because it’s a joy to see a new city and sort of live there for a few days. Recently we made a trip to the west coast that made us had to tell how pissed we are at Virgin Group for their awful business practices.
Virgin Airlines / Virgin America / Virgin Atlantic
If we had to rate an awful airline Virgin would take the cake as it is the worst one we have ever been in. When I say that Virgin sucks, we don’t want employees of Virgin to feel bad because we understand that they are good people that work for a crappy company. As a matter of fact we have lots of respect for the San Francisco crew at Virgin America as they were really nice people especially the pilot who is a cool guy.
When riding on Virgin, we thought you should know that all the company thinks about is money and that’s it. I have never seen an airline charge you for so many services that are free all other major airlines. Virgin America wants more of your money and it doesn’t matter that you already bought tickets and paid a decent amount of money for them. Using Virgin is a big mistake that you are going to regret later as you are going to be charged for the basic things that are free on all other major airlines.
The fees
To some of you it may seem like I am ranting here, but let me explain these fees in a more detail way so that you see how unfair these hidden fees really are and it should also give you a better understanding of the reason that we never want to use this crappy airline ever again and why should you avoid it at all cost.
Luggage
If you use Virgin airlines and have a big bag well guess what people you are going to be charged $25 Dollars for every bag that you check in, and it doesn’t matter how big or small the bag is that is the fee still applies and more if the bag weights more that it should.
Food
Virgin charges you for food and we are not saying that they shouldn’t, but at least have some free meals and offer premium meals for a fee. No they can’t do that because all they want is your money.
Seating
If it isn’t enough with the food and luggage problems the seating is bloody awful. You barely have any leg room unless you are a really small build person and most people aren’t. In my seat my legs were numb because I could barely stretch them and I’m only 5’10.
The plane left without us!
Ok so we have explained to you the fees and luggage problems that are involved while riding on Virgin, but we almost forgot to tell you that the Airline leaves before the actual departure time and if you are not there early you will miss your flight. It is acceptable that the airline leaves at the time that it’s supposed to, but not earlier and Virgin America does that shit.
The worst part of the whole thing is that ok well, we understand that being late is not a good thing, but it’s also how they do things. In LAX they have two Virgin terminals, which can be confusing especially to the cab driver. The first check in area is at the beginning and the second one is at the end. For a cab driver that can be a confusing thing, so the driver will probably make the simple mistake of dropping you at the first check in area, which is for Virgin Atlantic and not Virgin America that is only for the US and Canada only.
And that is what happened to us, the cab driver dropped us up off at the Virgin Atlantic terminal, which is for international flights only and you can’t check in with them and that alone is stupid because it’s the same company.
This made us late because not only did we have to wait twice in line to find out that we couldn’t board the plane, but it’s the fact that they couldn’t get us on another flight until the next morning as standby, which made things more unpleasant.
Things got unpleasant because LAX is basically located in the gang territory of Inglewood, California, where The Bloods roam the streets looking to assault, rape, rob, and murder people. Although nothing happened to us well what if it did? What if this happens to another person and someone gets killed or another girl gets raped because of the bad business practices of Virgin Group.
Because of all the headaches that we got while using Virgin America we have nothing good to say about them, and we hope that you guys boycott that airline as you will only get headaches and aggravation while using them.
Until I see news about Virgin Airlines and that includes Virgin Atlantic, Virgin America and the rest or the airlines that they own changing their business practices we will not stop this boycott of Virgin Group and their airlines.
