Apple iPad the Twisted Junk Review

by Elias - on Apr 27th 2010 - 1 Comment

Not that we normally feature Apple products because we’re Windows people here, but a good friend of us bought one yesterday gave us a chance to test it out. From the looks of it we can tell you that the device itself feels and look great. It is incredibly thin, which we like, but don’t let the iPad fool you because it is certainly not a fully functional computer. The iPad is a device that Many people thought would replace laptops, but that is far from the truth because there are a lot of things missing.

Among one of the things missing is a USB hub, which can be a pain if you want to put data in it so that can be a annoying as you will have to use iTunes every time you put content on it. Some people like iTunes, but I don’t and that is the only tool that you use to put stuff, which means DRM headaches. Space is another issue because your options are 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB, and that is too little space being that it’s very limited and we understand that Apple’s approach with the iPad is cloud computing, which is a terrible idea because your internet could be broken for days in your city and if you can’t access those essential files then you are at a disadvantage.

The price is another thing because the device really doesn’t do much and sure yes it comes with Netflix, which means you get to watch your instant queue, but that is not enough because 16GB can be filled in a few days and the price for the 16GB ipad is $500 bucks, so let’s say you buy a few games, songs, videos well that  means that after a while you have no disk space.

Because the Apple iPad didn’t impress us at all and certainly does not replace a laptop, we can’t recommend to everybody. However if you are the type of person that just checks your email and would like to read a couple of blogs and play a few simple games then this is the perfect product for you, but it will not replace your laptop and because of this we give it a 7 out of 10.

Olivia Munn get’s naked for Peta

by Elias - on Apr 27th 2010 - No Comments

Sexy gamer chick Olivia Munn get’s naked for Peta to help circus elephants. The reason she did this is due to her finding out the harsh reality that elephants go through and she thought that getting naked would help. Thinking about it for a second, we always did wonder how circus people ever manage to control such huge beasts as elephants and heck even tigers, I mean those a wild animals. At least it inspired a cool sexy asian chick like Olivia Munn now we hope she does Playboy next.

This new video will bring you more information on Red Dead Redemption and how the multiplayer experience in this game will be different in many ways. As we said before we got a chance to play this game over at Pax East and we were quite impressed with the game. Now we didn’t get to play the multiplayer part of the game, but the regular single player missions of the game were what did it for us. This video confirms that Red Dead Redemption will probably be more popular than Modern Warfare’s multiplayer.

Well is not that we cover games like Project Runway much, but we thought we would show you that you can still get your girlfriend addicted or at least introduced to video games. Project Runway would probably be one of the best games out there that you can use to introduce her to gaming, but it’s also great to get your daughter as she will probably be into this game once she plays it.

Below are some screenshots of Project Runway for the Nintendo Wii.
